About Branch & Bloom
What is Branch & Bloom Supportive Network?
Branch & Bloom Supportive Network is a North Carolina nonprofit that provides supportive housing paired with person-centered support. Our homes are part of one housing continuum, with programs designed for people in reentry and in recovery, and plans to serve people experiencing homelessness and other populations. Our goal is to help residents build stability and move toward independent, permanent housing.
Is Branch & Bloom a nonprofit? Are donations tax-deductible?
Branch & Bloom Supportive Network, Inc. is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation. Our application for federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) is pending with the IRS. Please contact us before making a gift so we can discuss timing and deductibility.
How is Branch & Bloom governed?
Branch & Bloom is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. Our board officers and Governance & Nominations Committee are independent, and the organization operates under adopted conflict-of-interest and related-party transaction policies.
Does Branch & Bloom provide clinical treatment?
No. Branch & Bloom provides supportive housing and coordinated support services, not clinical, medical, or mental health treatment. We help residents connect with licensed providers of their choosing.
Where does Branch & Bloom operate?
Our homes are located in Fayetteville, North Carolina. We plan to expand to Johnston, Wake, and Durham counties as our network grows. To protect residents' privacy, we do not publish the addresses of our homes.
Programs and Referrals
What programs does Branch & Bloom offer?
We currently offer two programs: the Reentry Support Program, for adults transitioning from incarceration, and the Recovery Support Program, for adults in recovery from substance use. Each program page explains who the program serves, what support is provided, and how referrals work.
How do referrals work?
Admission to our programs is through referral from a partner organization, such as a reentry program, treatment provider, case management agency, or public agency. To start a referral, email referrals@branchandbloomnetwork.org with your name, organization, and the program you are referring to. Please do not include personal details about the individual in your first message; we will send a secure referral form to complete.
Can someone contact you directly without a referral?
Yes. Individuals are welcome to contact us with questions about our programs. Because admission is through a partner referral, we will help you understand whether a program may be a good fit and connect you with an organization that can make a referral.
How is personal information protected?
We collect only the information needed to evaluate fit and provide services, and we share it only with the person's written consent or as required by law. Please do not submit personal, health, legal, or financial information through our general contact form or by email; referral details are exchanged only through our secure referral process.
How quickly will you respond?
We respond to general inquiries within two business days. Referral inquiries are acknowledged within one business day.
Do you coordinate with other service providers?
Yes. With a resident's permission, we coordinate with case managers, treatment providers, employment programs, and other professionals involved in their plan. Coordination is always guided by the resident's consent and goals.
Do you plan to serve other populations?
Yes. Branch & Bloom is designed to grow. Future programs we are planning include the Transitional Housing Program, the Veterans Transitional Housing Program, the Women's Transitional Housing Program, and the Medical Respite & Recuperative Care Program. These programs are not yet accepting participants or referrals.
Partnerships and Support
How can my organization partner with Branch & Bloom?
We work with housing providers, reentry and recovery organizations, community service providers, public agencies, employers, and funders. Partnerships may include referral coordination, complementary services, housing resources, employment opportunities, or funding support. Use our contact form to start a conversation.
How do you measure outcomes?
We measure results at every stage of a resident's journey, from intake through the months after they leave our program. Our measures focus on housing stability, employment and income, recovery progress, successful program completion, and stability after discharge, including follow-up with former residents. Results are reviewed regularly by our leadership and Board, used to improve our services, and reported to funders without sharing information that could identify residents. Each program page lists the specific outcomes that program tracks.
How can I support Branch & Bloom?
